PMC Lead Rotating Engineer

The RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced PMC Lead Static Engineer with a proven track record in overseeing the design, development and implementation of static equipment ensuring their functionality, safety and compliance with project specifications and industry standards for a high-profile client.
Key Objectives- Provide technical expertise in all mechanical Rotating Equipment design.
- Ensure design and engineering compliance with relevant codes and ADNOC standards.
- Coordinate, monitor and handle rotating equipment design and engineering with EPC Contractor as per project expectation and complete the same within the time frame.
- Work with other discipline engineers within IPMT, EPC Contractor, ADNOC Engineering.
- Operation Site Interface to resolve technical issues and ensure quality discipline engineering execution and integrity.
- Perform regular and timely technical reviews of mechanical rotating engineering deliverables developed by engineering consultants and contractors, ensuring design quality in compliance with relevant codes, standards and best practices.

ExpectedQualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent technical team and interpersonal skills.
- Experience and detailed knowledge of relevant international codes and standards.
- Knowledge of engineering computer programs and general business software.
- Ability to make independent decisions in planning, organizing and coordinating to develop solutions to complex problems.
- Ensure integration of overall Mechanical Rotating Engineering and overall coordination within IPMT Mechanical Rotating Engineering Team.
- Ensure quality and accuracy of Engineering Consultant’s and EPC Contractor’s Mechanical Rotating Engineering design activities.
- Review and approval of Engineering Consultant’s and EPC Contractor’s work to ensure compliance with ADNOC project specifications, relevant codes and standards and best industry practices.
- Coordinate the required engineering participation in the development and analysis of various design options and business models.
- Contribute input and expertise in the development and analysis of various design options and business models to design optimization and validation.
- Participate in teams for equipment sizing, equipment selection considering optimization and standardization.
- Ensure that the facilities are designed in accordance with the latest corporate guidelines with respect to environment and health aspects.
- Ensure full utilization of the existing facilities while optimizing the facilities required for the new projects.
- Participate in layout reviews, model reviews, design reviews and technical workshops.
- Provide technical assistance and coordination with other discipline engineers.
- Coordinate technical reviews and bid evaluation and performance evaluation.
- Provide technical assistance during installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning.
- Report to ADNOC Discipline Team Leader, Engineering Manager and provide support to Project Managers and Engineers within the Project Management Team organization.
- Interface with Managers, Team Leaders and Engineers in Company’s Technical Departments, Business Units, Operations Units and Logistics Department.
- Interface regularly with Contractor’s Engineering and Project Management team and discipline engineers as and when required.
