PMC Lead Process Engineer

Job ObjectiveTo lead and manage all process engineering activities on behalf of the Project Management Consultant (PMC) for ADNOC projects, ensuring the safe, efficient and compliant delivery of process design and engineering in alignment with ADNOC standards, project specifications and international best practices. The role is responsible for providing technical leadership, overseeing EPC contractor deliverables, ensuring design integrity, optimizing process performance and supporting the successful execution of the project within scope, schedule and budget.
Responsibilities- Provide technical leadership for process engineering activities.
- Oversee EPC contractor deliverables and ensure design integrity.
- Optimize process performance and support project execution within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Ensure integration of overall Process Engineering and overall coordination within the IPMT Process Engineering Team.
- Ensure quality and accuracy of Engineering Consultant and EPC Contractor process engineering design activities.
- Review and approve Engineering Consultant and EPC Contractor work, ensuring compliance with ADNOC project specifications, relevant codes and standards and best industry practices.
- Coordinate engineering participation in the development and analysis of design options and business models.
- Contribute input and expertise in equipment sizing, selection, optimization and standardization.
- Ensure facilities are designed in accordance with corporate guidelines for environment and health aspects and fully utilize existing facilities while optimizing new facilities.
- Support assignment of discipline engineers and other resources as required.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent technical team and interpersonal skills.
- Experience and detailed knowledge of relevant international codes and standards.
- Knowledge of engineering computer programs and general business software.
- Ability to make independent decisions in planning, organizing and coordinating to develop solutions to complex problems.
