This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced PMC Lead Static Engineer with a proven track record in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of static equipment, ensuring their functionality, safety, and compliance with project specifications and industry standards for a high‑profile client.

• Provide technical expertise in all mechanical static equipment design
• Ensure design and engineering compliance with relevant codes and ADNOC standards
• Coordinate, monitor, and handle static equipment design and engineering with EPC contractor as per project expectations and complete within the timeframe
• Work with other discipline engineers within IPMT, EPC contractor, and ADNOC Engineering Operation Site Interface to resolve technical issues and ensure quality Discipline Engineering execution and integrity
• Perform regular and timely technical reviews of Mechanical Static Engineering deliverables developed by engineering consultants and contractors, ensuring design quality in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent technical team and interpersonal skills
• Experience and detailed knowledge of relevant international codes and standards
• Knowledge of engineering computer programs and general business software
• Ability to make independent decisions in planning, organising, and coordinating to develop solutions to complex problems

• Ensure integration of overall Mechanical Static Engineering
• Overall coordination within IPMT Mechanical Static Engineering Team
• Ensure quality and accuracy of Engineering Consultant’s and EPC Contractor’s Mechanical Static Engineering design activities
• Review and approve Engineering Consultant’s and EPC Contractor’s work and ensure compliance with ADNOC project specifications, relevant codes, and standards and best industry practices
• Coordinate required engineering participation in the development and analysis of various design options and business models
• Contribute input and expertise to design optimisation and validation by analysing various design options and business models
• Participate in teams for equipment sizing and selection, considering optimisation and standardisation
• Ensure facilities are designed in accordance with the latest corporate guidelines with respect to environmental and health aspects
• Ensure full utilisation of existing facilities while optimising those required for new projects
• Participate in layout reviews, model reviews, design reviews, and technical workshops
• Provide technical assistance and coordination with other discipline engineers
• Coordinate technical reviews, bid evaluation, and performance evaluation
• Provide technical assistance during installation, pre‑commissioning, and commissioning
• Report to ADNOC Discipline Team Leader and Engineering Manager, and provide support to Project Managers and Engineers within the Project Management Team organization
• Interface with Managers, Team Leaders, and Engineers in the company’s Technical Departments, Business Units, Operations Units, and Logistics Department
• Interface regularly with the Contractor’s Engineering and Project Management team and discipline engineers as and when required
