AVEVA delivers Predictive Analytics, Asset Performance Management, and Process Optimisation solutions across the Middle East. These digital solutions monitor critical equipment in real time, generating predictive alerts and operational advisories to prevent unplanned downtime, extend asset life, and optimize performance. This SME role ensures predictive model outputs are technically interpreted, validated, ope rationalised, and sustained – converting AI insights into measurable reliability and financial benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end‑to‑end deployment and operationalisation of AVEVA predictive analytics and asset performance solutions across customer facilities.
  • Provide reliability engineering expertise during asset onboarding, solution configuration, and model development.
  • Collaborate with analytics, data science, product, and delivery teams to ensure models reflect asset criticality, failure modes, reliability risk, maintenance strategies, and workflows.
  • Support model validation, alert tuning, calibration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) prior to go‑live.
  • Validate model outputs against historical reliability trends, maintenance history, and operational performance data.
  • Develop and maintain reliability governance frameworks, KPI structures, and value realization methodologies for deployed solutions.
  • Expand predictive monitoring and reliability optimisation coverage across additional assets, systems, and facilities.
  • Own and maintain programme benefits realization tracking: downtime avoided, maintenance cost savings, production uplift, energy efficiency, and equipment availability.
  • Lead bad actor analysis informed by predictive models and coordinate cross‑functional investigations.
  • Apply reliability engineering methodologies: RAM analysis, FMEA, RCA, Weibull analysis, RCM principles.
  • Develop and maintain performance dashboards and governance metrics: alert accuracy, false positives, missed detections, advisory adoption, operational response effectiveness, reliability KPI improvements.
  • Drive continuous improvement of operational adoption and usage of predictive outputs by identifying workflow gaps and recommending process enhancements.
  • Act as the primary technical focal point during sustainment and managed service phases for assigned reliability portfolios.
  • Participate in governance meetings, technical reviews, workshops, and value‑realization sessions with customer stakeholders, asset owners, and senior leadership.
  • Conduct periodic visits to customer plants to support deployment activities, reliability reviews, bad actor investigations, and stakeholder engagement.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, or related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 12 years of reliability engineering experience within oil & gas, petrochemical, refining, gas processing, power generation, or heavy industrial environments.
  • Strong experience applying RAM analysis, FMEA, RCA, Weibull analysis, and reliability‑centred maintenance methodologies.
  • Cross‑discipline asset management experience spanning mechanical, electrical, process, and integrity‑critical assets.
  • Experience owning programme KPI governance, reliability reporting, and value‑realisation tracking for operational facilities.
  • Experience working with predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, or AI‑driven asset performance platforms.
