Road Safety Coordinator

We are seeking a Road Safety Coordinator to join our team in the oil and gas construction sector. This role is critical in ensuring the safety of all personnel and equipment during transportation and site operations. You will be responsible for implementing and monitoring road safety programs, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and local regulations.

As a Road Safety Coordinator
, you will:

• Develop and enforce road safety policies and procedures for construction sites and transport routes.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of vehicles, drivers, and road conditions.
• Deliver training sessions on defensive driving and safe transport practices.
• Investigate road incidents and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
• Collaborate with HSE teams to integrate road safety into overall project safety plans.
• Ensure compliance with local traffic laws and international oil & gas safety standards.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience preferably in oil and gas field setting

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Engineering, or related field

Certifications/Licenses: Valid UAE Driving License and NEBOSH

• Strong knowledge of traffic regulations, defensive driving principles, and HSE standards.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work in remote project locations.
