Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate should possess a degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline. Candidates with additional technical certifications or specialized training relevant to construction, civil works, power plant operations, or substation projects will have an added advantage.
Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 10 years of relevant professional experience
, preferably gained in civil engineering projects, power plants, or electrical substations
. Experience in Gulf countries and/or India is highly desirable, as it demonstrates familiarity with regional standards, practices, and regulatory requirements. Exposure to diverse project environments and multicultural teams will be beneficial.
The candidate should have hands‑on experience in executing engineering projects, particularly in construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities. They should be well‑versed in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Practical knowledge and experience in the following areas are essential:
- Quality Management Systems (QMS):
Ensuring project activities comply with established quality standards and procedures. - Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):
Implementing HSE policies, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a safe work culture. - Risk Management

Identifying, evaluating, and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle. - Subcontractor Management

Coordinating with subcontractors, monitoring progress, and ensuring contractual compliance. - Project Execution and Monitoring

Tracking project progress, managing resources, and ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.
Experience in power plants and substations
, including electrical installation, cable laying, transformer erection, switch gear installation, and testing, will be highly preferred.
