Commissioning Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join our team and support major EPC Oil & Gas projects. This role is responsible for developing commissioning plans and procedures, coordinating and supervising pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, and ensuring all activities comply with safety standards and contractual requirements.

As a Commissioning Engineer
, you will be responsible for:

• Developing commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules for assigned projects.
• Coordinating systemization activities and reviewing P&IDs, SLDs, and Instrument Block Diagrams.
• Participating in Mechanical Completion walkdowns and managing punch list activities through SCDB.
• Performing conformity checks, pre-commissioning activities, and test pack verifications.
• Executing commissioning and pre-startup activities including functional testing, operational testing, chemical filling, leak testing, inerting, and drying.
• Preparing and submitting commissioning dossiers.
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards, contractual requirements, and quality assurance requirements.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration and handover of systems to operations teams.

• Experience: Minimum 6-8 years of experience in commissioning roles, preferably in the oil & gas, power or heavy industrial sectors.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Chemical Engineering.
• Qualifications: Hands‑on work experience with reputed commissioning software such as ICAPS and HEXAGON. Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications, with a strong understanding of piping, electrical, control systems, instrumentation, and mechanical equipment. Expertise in commissioning tools and techniques, including system start‑up, testing, and operational readiness, with knowledge of safety and environmental standards applicable to commissioning processes.
