PMC Civil Engineering Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in all Civil and Structural design.
• Ensure design and engineering compliance with relevant codes and ADNOC standards.
• Coordinate, monitor, and handle Civil and Structural Engineering design with EPC contractors.
• Work with other discipline engineers within IPMT and cross‑functional teams.
• Interface with operations, site, and other departments to resolve technical issues and ensure quality.
• Perform regular and timely technical reviews of deliverables from engineering consultants and contractors.
• Ensure design quality, compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices.
• Coordinate required engineering participation in the development and analysis of design options and business models.
• Contribute input and expertise to design optimization and validation.
• Participate in equipment sizing, selection, and standardization.
• Ensure facilities are designed per the latest corporate guidelines, including environmental and health aspects.
• Participate in layout, model, and design reviews, and technical workshops.
• Provide technical assistance and coordination with other discipline engineers.
• Coordinate technical reviews, bid evaluation, and performance evaluation.
• Provide technical assistance during installation, pre‑commissioning, and commissioning.
• Report to ADNOC Discipline Team Leader, Engineering Manager, Project Managers, and Engineers.

• Expected Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent technical team and interpersonal skills.
• Detailed knowledge of relevant international codes and standards.
• Knowledge of engineering computer programs and general business software.
• Ability to make independent decisions in planning, organizing and coordinating to develop solutions to complex problems.
