Sr. Commissioning Process Engineer

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics) or equivalent from an accredited university, with fifteen (15) years of experience in completion/turnover within commissioning or operation readiness environments and preference for experience in the GCC region. Minimum five (5) years of experience in a similar position in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects, with particular emphasis on commissioning sour gas, Utilities, Power Steam and Generation, and air separation projects.

Experience with Completion Management Systems and reporting applications is preferred, as is familiarity with large database populations and completion data verification.

Provide guidance to EPC contractors and support the Onshore Completion Lead to meet completion milestones from construction completion through pre‑commissioning, commissioning, and successful startup, ensuring all systems and subsystems are certified and handed over in full compliance with ADNOC and industry standards.

• Guide EPC contractors, subcontractors on completion deliverables and implementations.
• Support systemization activities and provide advice to the Onshore Completion Lead and Sr. Commissioning Manager.
• Review completion/turnover deliverables issued by the EPC contractor.
• Verify mechanical completion certificate requirements for systems and subsystems.
• Participate in completion and commissioning meetings.
• Verify readiness of systems/subsystems for MC and RFSU certificate issuance.
• Ensure compliance with contractual documents during completion and handover methodology.

• Maintain reliable project completion management system databases for tracking and monitoring.
• Utilize completion management systems for tracking and reporting.
• Monitor contractor’s mechanical completion and pre‑commissioning activities daily.
• Ensure implementation of completion deliverables progresses per commissioning sequence plan and schedule.
• Confirm all installations are complete and compliant with project requirements.
• Participate in system walk‑downs and final acceptance inspections.
• Generate and track punch items (Categories A/B/C) and verify their closure prior to completion acceptance.
• Support Onshore Completion Lead and Sr. Commissioning Manager to ensure milestone achievements meet contractual requirements.
• Report completion progress, key issues, and readiness status to other departments.

• Ensure EPC contractors comply with company HSE regulations during construction, quality, and commissioning activities.
• Support and advise the Onshore Completion Lead and Commissioning Team in managing pre‑commissioning and commissioning risks, ensuring compliance with project standards and requirements.

• Coordinate with contractors, QA/QC, commissioning team, and operations representatives.
• Support the approval of mechanical completion and RFSU.
• Verify the final handover process aligns with contractual requirements.
