Draughtsman - Road and HDD Pipeline projects

Responsibilities

• Prepare Traffic Diversion Drawings based on actual site conditions and project requirements.
• Develop Traffic Diversion Plans (TDP) and Traffic Control Plans (TCP) in compliance with RTA and relevant UAE authority standards.
• Submit and follow up Traffic Diversion applications through the RTA ROWPS Portal and coordinate until obtaining Traffic Diversion NOC approvals.
• Prepare Road Cutting Drawings for proposed 11kV and LV cable works for Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) projects, verify site conditions, and prepare cable cross‑sections based on field measurements and approved design standards.
• Prepare HDD alignment drawings, utility crossing details, trench profiles, and construction drawings.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers, Survey Teams, Site Supervisors, and PRO personnel to ensure timely drawing submissions and authority approvals.
• Revise drawings based on authority comments and client requirements.
• Maintain drawing records and revisions, and document control in accordance with project procedures.
• Ensure all drawings comply with RTA, DEWA, Dubai Municipality and other applicable authority requirements.

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Draftsman Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience in Traffic Diversion and utility infrastructure drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D knowledge is an added advantage).
• Experience in preparing Traffic Diversion Drawings, Road Cutting Drawings, HDD utility drawings, and cable layouts.
• Hands‑on experience with the RTA ROWPS Portal and authority submission process.
• Good knowledge of DEWA, RTA, Dubai Municipality, and other UAE authority standards.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, survey data, and utility layouts.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
