    • Develop and review piping specifications, material classes, datasheets, and design philosophies.
    • Review and approve piping layouts, GA drawings, isometrics, and 3D models.
    • Ensure piping systems are designed for operability, maintainability, safety, and constructability.
    • Perform piping routing studies considering space constraints and brownfield integration requirements.
    • Support line sizing, pressure drop calculations, and hydraulic assessments.
  • Stress Analysis & Flexibility:
    • Review piping stress analyses and flexibility studies.
    • Ensure compliance with code requirements for thermal expansion, vibration, and operational loads.
    • Coordinate with stress engineers to resolve high‑stress and support issues; review critical line support arrangements and expansion solutions.
  • Material & Corrosion Management:
    • Define piping material specifications for seawater, treated water, and utility systems.
    • Assess corrosion risks and recommend mitigation measures; ensure material selection complies with process requirements and design life expectations.
    • Review corrosion allowance requirements and protective coating specifications.
  • Brownfield & Offshore Modifications:
    • Conduct offshore site surveys and brownfield assessments.
    • Develop tie‑in strategies and piping modification plans; support shutdown planning and SIMOPS activities.
    • Evaluate existing facilities to identify integration challenges; minimize impact on ongoing production operations.
  • Multidisciplinary Coordination:
    • Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Structural, Instrumentation, Electrical, and Operations teams to resolve design clashes and interface issues.
    • Participate in design reviews, constructability workshops, and model reviews; provide technical guidance to design and drafting teams.
  • Procurement & Vendor Support:
    • Prepare material requisitions and technical specifications.
    • Support bid evaluations and vendor selection processes; review vendor package piping interfaces and integration requirements.
    • Resolve technical queries related to piping materials and fabrication.
  • Construction & Commissioning Support:
    • Provide engineering support during fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning.
    • Review construction work packs and method statements; support hydro‑testing, flushing, cleaning, and mechanical completion activities.
    • Resolve field engineering queries and non‑conformance reports; verify system readiness for commissioning and startup.
  • HSE & Quality Compliance:
    • Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, constructability, SIMOPS, and risk assessment studies.
    • Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements and company standards; support MOC processes.
    • Promote safe design principles and asset integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
