As part of K  Sustainable Technology Solutions, the Senior Pipeline Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for leading on‑shore commissioning activities across the asset life cycle, ensuring project milestones are met within scope, schedule, and quality standards.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics) or an equivalent accredited qualification with at least fifteen (15) years of experience in completion/turnover within commissioning/operation readiness environments. Preference for experience in the GCC region, with a minimum of five (5) years in a similar role on Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects, particularly commissioning sour gas, utilities, power steam & generation, and air separation projects.

Proficiency with Completion Management Systems and reporting applications is preferred, as is familiarity with large database population and data validation.

Senior Commissioning Engineer for onshore facilities will provide guidance to EPC contractors to meet completion milestones from construction completion through pre‑commissioning, commissioning, and successful startup, culminating in handover to Operations. This role ensures implementation of the approved Completion Management System, procedures, and workflows in line with company and industry standards and ADNOC standards.

• Lead and manage EPC contractors and subcontractors on completion deliverables and implementations.
• Support systemization activities, including definition of systems and subsystems.
• Provide advice and support to the Onshore Completion Lead and Senior Commissioning Manager as needed.
• Review completion/turnover deliverables issued by EPC contractors.
• Verify mechanical completion certificate requirements for systems and subsystems.
• Participate in completion and commissioning meetings and related meetings.
• Verify readiness of systems/subsystems for MC and RFSU certificate issuance.
• Ensure completion and handover methodology complies with contractual documents.
• Ensure Project Completion Management System database populations are reliable for tracking and monitoring prior to completion acceptance.
• Utilize Completion Management Systems for tracking and reporting.
• Monitor contractor’s mechanical completion and pre‑commissioning activities daily.
• Ensure completion deliverables progress according to commissioning sequence plan and project schedule.
• Ensure installations are complete and compliant with project requirements.
• Participate in system walk‑downs and final acceptance inspections.
• Generate and track punch items (Category A/B/C).
• Verify closure of punch items, ensuring critical items resolved before completion acceptance.
• Support Onshore Completion Lead and Senior Commissioning Manager to meet contractual milestones.
• Report completion progress, key issues, and readiness status to other departments.
• Ensure EPC contractor complies with company HSE regulations during construction, quality and commissioning activities.
• Provide risk management support to the Onshore Completion Lead and Commissioning Team prior to pre‑commissioning and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with contractors, QA/QC, Commissioning Team, and Operations representatives.
• Support approval of mechanical completion and RFSU with the Operation Readiness team leader.
• Verify facilities final handover to Operations aligns with contractual requirements.
