Piping Designer

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare 2D and 3D piping layouts, isometrics and fabrication drawings
- Develop piping models using AutoCAD Plant 3D, AVEVA E3D, PDMS, Smart Plant 3D, SP3D or similar software
- Review P IDs, equipment layouts and vendor drawings to produce accurate piping designs
- Perform piping routing, support design and clash detection
- Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Electrical and Instrumentation teams
- Prepare Material Take-Offs (MTOs), piping general arrangements (GAs) and spool drawings
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, client requirements and international standards such as ASME, API and ISO
- Participate in design reviews and incorporate client comments and engineering revisions
- Support construction, fabrication and commissioning teams by resolving design-related issues
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- 5+ years of piping design experience within the Oil & Gas, EPC, Petrochemical, Power, or Industrial sectors
- Experience working on FEED and Detailed Engineering projects is preferred
- GCC or Middle East project experience is an advantage
