Infrastructure Draughtsman

The Infrastructure Draughtsman will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings and layouts for infrastructure projects including roads, utilities, and drainage systems, ensuring compliance with relevant authorities' standards and project requirements. The role requires close coordination with engineers, consultants, and project stakeholders.

• Prepare detailed infrastructure drawings using AutoCAD and, where applicable, Revit and BIM.
• Support design teams in producing layouts for utilities, roads, stormwater, sewerage, and other infrastructure systems.
• Ensure all drawings are in compliance with Abu Dhabi authority standards (e.g., ADM, ADDC, DOT, ADSSC, etc.).
• Revise drawings as per engineering markups, authority comments, and site changes.
• Maintain and update drawing registers and ensure version control of issued documents.
• Coordinate with engineers and other draughtsmen to ensure timely delivery of drawings.
• Support submission processes to local authorities by providing accurate and complete drawing packages.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in infrastructure projects in the UAE.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
  ; working knowledge of Revit and BIM is preferred.
• Solid understanding of Abu Dhabi infrastructure authority requirements and standards

• Experience in preparing drawings for roads, utilities, and site development works.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and document control practices.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Diploma or certification in Civil Engineering or Drafting.
• Experience with BIM coordination tools (e.g., Navisworks) is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of international and local drafting standards.
