Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all static equipment engineering activities during FEED, EPC and detailed engineering phases of the project.
- Provide technical leadership for design specification and procurement of static equipment, including pressure vessels, columns, heat exchangers, tanks, separators, filters, reactors and package equipment.
- Develop and review equipment datasheets, specifications, material requisitions, technical bid evaluations and vendor documentation.
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, project specifications and applicable international codes and standards such as ASME, API, TEMA and ASTM.
- Coordinate with Process, Piping, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation and Procurement disciplines to ensure effective integration of static equipment requirements.
- Review and approve vendor drawings, calculations, manufacturing procedures and inspection requirements.
- Support constructability reviews, value engineering studies and cost optimization initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in design reviews, HAZOP, constructability workshops and technical meetings with clients, vendors and contractors.
- Monitor engineering progress and ensure deliverables are completed in accordance with project schedules, quality standards and HSE requirements.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring and supervision to a team of specialists, senior engineers and engineers.
- Interface effectively with clients, licensors, suppliers and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues and support successful project execution.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of fifteen years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry, including a minimum of five years preferred in the GCC region.
- At least five years of experience in a similar position on major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects managing a team of specialists, senior engineers and engineers.
- ADNOC & Offshore project experience is preferred; PMC experience is preferable.
- Experience in FEED & EPC phases is required.
- Strong knowledge of international standards and codes including ASME Section VIII, API TEMA and NACE requirements.
- Experience in technical bid evaluations, vendor management and fabrication oversight for static equipment.
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary and multicultural project environments.
