Estimation Engineer – Civil; Water & Wastewater Infrastructure

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) from tender drawings and specifications.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil works related to water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Perform rate analysis and cost comparisons.
• Review tender documents, identify project risks, exclusions, and assumptions.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and commercial teams during the tender stage.
• Support the preparation of technical and commercial tender submissions.
• Assist in value engineering and cost optimization proposals.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with MOHESR equivalency.
• 4–7 years of experience in civil estimation for water and wastewater infrastructure projects
  .

Experience working with EPC contractors on utility infrastructure projects for clients such as ADSSC, TAQA Water Solutions, SEWA, EWEC, or similar organizations will be an advantage.

• Hands‑on experience estimating one or more of the following:
  Water transmission pipelines
• Sewerage networks
• Pumping stations
• Water Treatment Plants (WTP)
• Sewage Treatment Plants (STP)
• Reverse Osmosis (RO) plants
• RCC reservoirs and associated civil structures

Strong knowledge of quantity take-offs, BOQs, rate analysis, and tendering procedures.

Ability to interpret civil and structural drawings and technical specifications.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD. Experience with estimating software is an advantage.

UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
