PMC Senior Construction Engineer - E&I

Qualifications

• Expected Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, Control Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in I & C construction with at least 5-7 years in a PMC or consultant role.
• Proven experience on onshore oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery or large industrial projects.
• Deep knowledge of DCS, PLC, SCADA systems, field instrumentation, hazardous area ATEX IECEx.
• Strong understanding of construction & commissioning workflows, HSE systems and project coordination.
• Strong leadership and site coordination skills, excellent communication and reporting abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple contractors and work under tight schedules.
• Onshore project site-based role; may require extended site presence and rotation schedules depending on project requirements.

• Supervise EPC contractors for all I & C activities, cabling, panels, DCS, PLC, field instruments.
• Ensure work aligns with FEED, EPC scope and construction plans.
• Monitor site progress and productivity.

• Act as client representative to ADNOC PMT on site.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors from construction to commissioning and handover.
• Review method statements, ITPs and procedures.

• Review engineering drawings and documents.
• Provide constructability input during design stage.
• Identify technical issues and resolve with engineering teams.

• Support construction schedules and work sequencing.
• Interface with Engineering team, QA, QC, HSE and Operations team.

• Oversee loop checks, instrument calibration, FAT and SAT.
• Ensure systems are ready for start-up and handover.
• Participate in completion systems and punch list clearance.

• Enforce ADNOC HSE standards and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, international codes and quality standards.

• Prepare daily and weekly reports.
• Track progress, issues and risks.
• Support change management and project controls.
