Role Overview
The role is an experienced PMC Electrical Engineering Specialist for the ADNOC Offshore project in Abu Dhabi. The position will be based at the client office in Abu Dhabi and will require travel to Spain. The specialist will provide technical expertise in all electrical design, ensure design and engineering compliance with ADNOC standards and relevant codes, and coordinate with EPC contractors and other discipline engineers to resolve technical issues and maintain quality.
Responsibilities- Provide technical expertise in all electrical design, ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards and relevant codes.
- Coordinate, monitor, and handle electrical design and engineering with EPC contractors, meeting project deadlines.
- Work with other discipline engineers (IPMT, EPC Contractor, ADNOC Engineering) and operations to resolve technical issues and maintain quality of discipline engineering execution.
- Perform regular and timely technical reviews of electrical engineering deliverables from consultants and contractors, ensuring design quality in compliance with codes, standards, and best practices.
- Ensure overall integration of electrical engineering within the IPMT Electrical Engineering team and maintain quality and accuracy of consultants and EPC contractors’ design activities.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong technical, team, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience and detailed knowledge of relevant international codes and standards.
- Proficiency with engineering computer programs and general business software.
- Ability to make independent decisions in planning, organizing, and coordinating solutions to complex problems.
