Specialist – Maintenance

Provide specialist maintenance engineering support to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production facilities by optimizing maintenance strategies, enhancing equipment reliability, and ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards, asset integrity requirements, and HSE regulations.

• Develop, review, and optimize preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance (CBM) programs for static and rotating equipment.
• Support the implementation of Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), Risk-Based Maintenance (RBM), and Asset Integrity Management (AIM) strategies.
• Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and defect elimination initiatives to improve equipment reliability and availability.
• Analyze equipment performance data and maintenance history to identify reliability improvement opportunities.

• Support maintenance planning and scheduling for routine, corrective, preventive, and shutdown maintenance activities.
• Participate in major plant shutdowns, turnarounds, and equipment overhauls, ensuring timely execution and quality outcomes.
• Review maintenance work packs, job plans, procedures, and resource requirements.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC maintenance standards, OEM recommendations, and engineering best practices.

• Maintain the integrity and accuracy of SAP PM/EAM master data, including functional locations, equipment records, BOMs, task lists, maintenance plans, and work orders.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs, including:
• Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF)
• Mean Time to Repair (MTTR)
• Equipment Availability
• Preventive Maintenance Compliance
• Schedule Compliance
• Maintenance Backlog
• Planned vs. Unplanned Maintenance
• Support spare parts optimization and critical equipment inventory management.

• Provide specialist engineering support for troubleshooting and resolving equipment failures.
• Review equipment modifications, Management of Change (MOC), and engineering recommendations related to maintenance activities.
• Support commissioning, start-up, performance testing, and handover of new or modified facilities.
• Coordinate with Operations, Inspection, Integrity, Process, HSE, and Engineering teams to improve overall plant performance.

• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with ADNOC HSE policies, PTW requirements, and applicable international standards.
• Promote a strong safety culture by participating in HAZOP, HAZID, Risk Assessments, Toolbox Talks, and incident investigations.
• Support compliance with ISO 55001 Asset Management principles and relevant API, ASME, ISO, and IEC standards.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Membership of a recognized professional engineering institution is desirable.
• CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional) or equivalent certification is an advantage.
• 10–15 years of maintenance engineering experience in the Oil & Gas industry
  , with a preference for ADNOC Group companies or major international operators.
• Experience in onshore production facilities, gathering stations, gas processing plants, oil terminals, or utility systems.
• Proven experience supporting maintenance planning, reliability engineering, shutdowns, and asset integrity programs.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP PM/EAM (S/4

• Experience in desert onshore oil field operations, remote production facilities, and brownfield asset maintenance.
• Familiarity with ADNOC Group Maintenance Standards, Asset Integrity Framework, Digital Maintenance Systems, and SAP S/4
  
  HANA EAM implementation.
