This position reports to:

Local Division Manager UAE Cluster

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the service delivery and engineering functions at UAE Cluster level, and to overachieve customer expectations through lean, faultless execution (Care, Customer, Cost, Cash), in an extended value chain and at the lowest total cost. Initiates, coordinates, drives, and oversees team development and continual improvement of processes and procedures to strengthen the engineering and design capability.

Drives the team's performance to ensure assigned operations are executed in accordance with company procedures, contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, cyber security policies and standards, and cost/profitability and scheduling targets.

The work model for the role is: onsite

This role is contributing to AUEN in UAE. Main stakeholders are Customers, Project Managers, Engineering and Service Delivery team.

• Implements and reviews service delivery and engineering strategy for the designated area, based on the overall service business strategy and its relentless execution.
• Aligns the unit’s strategy in line with global division/product group/hub and ensures operational development, including profit and loss.
• Ensures customer focus, understanding of sense of urgency and care in their direct area of responsibility, ensures customer retention by delivering superior customer service experience and Drives improvement of the customer satisfaction relentlessly.
• Leads, motivates, and develops Service Engineering and Delivery team of direct and indirect reports and improves service availability, provides training, and develops capabilities and competencies.
• Ensures that the execution teams are adequately resourced, developed, and equipped to meet business needs and guides the business in building engineering / operational capability through training, mentoring, and shadowing programs.
• Drives continuous improvement culture and the implementation of improvements to achieve service excellence and increase profitability in their own area of responsibility and accountable for quality assurance, quality control, and for the implementation of an integrated quality management system.

• You are highly skilled in automation and electrical systems, combined with process knowledge in Oil & Gas and Power & Water sectors.
• You have over 15 years of experience in similar role.
• Experience with Onshore and Offshore Oil and Gas customer especially ADNOC and GCC customers.
• Knowledge of ABB systems such as 800xA, Infi
  90, Symphony Plus (S+) etc. as well as ABB Industrial Cyber security and networking solutions is a great plus.
• You are passionate about customer collaboration, problem solving, and quality management
• Degree in Engineering with demonstrated expertise in automation systems and/or process applications across the Oil & Gas and Power & Water industries
• You are at ease communicating in English with internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders.
