Key Accountabilities- Lead advanced petrophysical interpretation and formation evaluation for exploration, appraisal, development, and production wells
- Interpret open-hole and cased-hole logs to determine porosity, permeability, water saturation, lithology, shale volume, net pay, and reservoir quality
- Integrate conventional and advanced logging data with core analysis, SCAL, RCAL, pressure, and laboratory measurements to improve reservoir understanding
- Develop, calibrate, and maintain petrophysical models and interpretation workflows for carbonate and clastic reservoirs.
- Evaluate reservoir uncertainties and recommend data acquisition strategies to improve reservoir characterization
- Provide technical input for wireline, MWD/LWD, logging programs, coring, formation testing, and special logging requirements.
- Support drilling operations by reviewing real‑time formation evaluation data and advising on logging requirements.
- Optimize data acquisition programs to maximize reservoir information while ensuring operational efficiency and cost effectiveness.
- Participate in well planning, geological prognosis, and post‑well evaluation activities.
- Collaborate with Geologists, Geophysicists, Reservoir Engineers, Drilling, and Production teams to develop integrated reservoir models.
- Provide petrophysical inputs for static geological models, dynamic reservoir simulation models, reserves estimation, and field development planning
- Support reservoir surveillance, production optimization, and infill drilling opportunities through integrated petrophysical analysis
- Participate in reservoir management studies, field redevelopment projects, and brownfield optimization initiatives.
- Develop and maintain petrophysical standards, workflows, and quality assurance procedures in accordance with ADNOC and international best practices.
- Lead technical reviews, peer assists, and knowledge‑sharing initiatives within the subsurface team.
Mentor junior petrophysicists and contribute to competency development. - Evaluate and implement new petrophysical technologies, digital workflows, and machine learning applications where applicable.
- Ensure all subsurface evaluations comply with ADNOC technical standards, corporate governance requirements, and HSE policies.
- Support Management of Change (MOC), technical assurance reviews, and integrated asset management processes.
- Maintain data quality, documentation, and technical integrity of petrophysical deliverables
- Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Geology, Geoscience, Physics, or a related Earth Science discipline
