, we are delivering some of the region's most complex and innovative Rail & Metro infrastructure projects. We are looking for a Drainage Lead to join our team in Saudi Arabia
. In this role, you will support a major 8-year PMC rail project in Riyadh
, where you'll lead the production, coordination, and technical delivery of Drainage and Wet Utilities design for landmark railway projects.

Key Responsibilities- Lead the production, coordination, and technical review of Drainage and Wet Utilities design for Rail & Metro infrastructure projects.
- Manage the Drainage design team to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality engineering solutions.
- Develop and review stormwater drainage, sewerage, and wet utilities designs in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards.
- Coordinate closely with Civil, Structures, Geotechnical, Roads, Track, Utilities, Architecture, Systems, and BIM teams to ensure fully integrated design solutions.
- Ensure compliance with client requirements, Saudi regulations, AASHTO standards, EN Standards, and other applicable engineering codes.
- Lead multidisciplinary design reviews, technical workshops, constructability reviews, and value engineering initiatives.
- Review contractor design submissions, RFIs, engineering proposals, and design changes.
- Provide technical leadership and resolve complex engineering and coordination challenges throughout the design lifecycle.
- Mentor and develop Drainage engineers while promoting technical excellence and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of overall engineering experience.
- Minimum 10 years of mandatory Rail & Metro experience.
- Proven experience leading the production, coordination, and review of detailed design for drainage, sewerage, and wet utilities infrastructure.
- Extensive experience in stormwater drainage, sewerage, and wet utilities design for Rail & Metro infrastructure projects.
- Experience in potable water design is not required; the primary focus is on drainage, sewerage, and wet utilities.
- Strong knowledge of AASHTO standards, EN Standards, Saudi Codes, and applicable engineering standards.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering coordination on complex infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Micro Station.
- Experience delivering designs across concept, preliminary, detailed, and IFC design stages.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Experience working with international engineering consultancies.
- Familiarity with GCC railway standards and Saudi regulations.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams across multiple project phases.
- Experience with BIM-enabled design coordination and digital engineering workflows.
