Job SummaryThe Senior Cost Control Engineer will be responsible for managing project cost planning, monitoring, forecasting, and reporting activities across multiple MEP projects.
The role requires strong commercial and analytical skills to ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets, maintain profitability, identify financial risks, and support management decision-making.
The successful candidate should have extensive UAE MEP contracting experience with proven knowledge of high-rise towers, luxury villas, commercial buildings, and large-scale residential developments.
Key Responsibilities Cost Planning & Budget Control- Develop project cost control procedures and systems.
- Establish project budgets, cost codes, and cost breakdown structures.
- Track committed costs, actual costs, and forecast costs.
- Prepare weekly and monthly cost control reports.
- Analyze cost variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare project cost forecasts until completion.
- Monitor project profitability and financial performance.
- Prepare cash flow projections.
- Support project review meetings with commercial insights.
- Perform earned value analysis (EVA/EVM).
- Monitor productivity and resource utilization.
- Analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontract costs.
- Support value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.
- Monitor procurement commitments and material costs.
- Coordinate with Procurement Department for cost optimization.
- Review subcontractor costs and payment certifications.
- Analyze supplier quotations and commercial impact.

to ensure accurate cost reporting and control.
Qualifications & Experience- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Quantity Surveying.
- Minimum 12 years UAE/GCC MEP contracting experience.
- Minimum 8 years in Senior Cost Control role.
- Experience working with reputed UAE MEP contractors.
