Responsibilities
- Follow up the daily operation with the supervisors charge hands and closing work orders
- Oversee MEP systems x27 operation and maintenance within a facility management framework ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of MEP systems identifying and rectifying deficiencies to maintain compliance with regulations and standards
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for MEP equipment extending their lifespan and reducing operational costs
- Manage and coordinate MEP-related projects including renovations upgrades and new installations from inception to completion
- Provide technical support and guidance to facility management teams on MEP-related issues troubleshooting problems and offering solutions
- Prepare and review technical documentation including drawings specifications and reports ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Manage budgets for MEP maintenance and projects controlling costs and ensuring efficient resource allocation
- Liaise with contractors and vendors ensuring their work meets quality standards and adheres to project timelines
- Implement energy-efficient practices and technologies to optimize MEP system performance and reduce environmental impact
- Stay abreast of industry best practices emerging technologies and relevant codes and regulations to maintain expertise and enhance service delivery
- Assisting and completing the works given by the Facilities Manager In charge of the day-to-day preventative and corrective maintenance
- Perform inspection and evaluation of systems and structures for the facilities as well as Snagging and DE snagging
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline
- Holds professional engineering (PE) licensure or equivalent certification, demonstrating professional competence
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP engineering, with a focus on facility management
- Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection
- Proven experience in managing and maintaining MEP systems in commercial or industrial facilities
- Familiar with relevant codes, standards, and regulations, such as NFPA, ASHRAE, and local building codes
- Exhibits strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and budget management
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with diverse stakeholders
- Proficient in using relevant software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and CMMS systems
- Shows strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to diagnose and resolve complex MEP issues
