EMC Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced EMC Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in EMC analysis, testing, and design, as well as hands‑on experience in EMC measurements, troubleshooting, and characterization of electronic systems and subsystems. Their tasks will support the experimental capabilities and the research and development programs at DERC.

• Work with a people leader who is concerned about executing EMC analysis, measurements, testing, and systems performance evaluation activities.
• Actively contribute to EMC investigations and studies related to radiated emissions, susceptibility / immunity, shielding effectiveness, cable coupling, grounding, and interference mitigation.
• Support the development and enhancement of EMC testing, analysis, and troubleshooting capabilities for current and future systems and technologies.
• Collaborate with both internal teams and customers.
• Prepare technical reports.
• Ensure documentation of technical data generated for the assigned tasks.
• Share engineering information and promote open dialogue.
• Participate in multidisciplinary discussions within the activity domain of DEROther duties related to the position.

• Strong knowledge of electromagnetic numerical simulations.
• Experience with software tools such as COMSOL, CST, and/or ANSYS.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to conduct experiments in a laboratory setting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• The use of CAD software is a great plus.

To qualify for this position, you will need to meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• At least 3 years of practical experience in EMC analysis, testing, troubleshooting, and system evaluation.
