Key Responsibilities
- Develop, review and manage welding technical documents including WPS, PQR, WPQR, Welding Consumable Specification, Welding Operation Instruction, Welding Inspection Plan, etc.
- Organize welding procedure qualification test (PQT).
- Conduct welder qualification test (WQT).
- Familiar with construction standards: API 1104, ASME IX, ASME B31.8, NACE MR0175.
- Monitor field welding implementation to comply with project specification.
- IWE (International Welding Engineer).
Working
Experience:
Minimum 8 years' experience in Oil & Gas long-distance gas transmission pipeline EPC projects.
Standard Proficiency:
Skilled in API 1104, ASME Section IX, ASME B31.8, NACE MR0175; proficient in WPS/PQR development and welder qualification administration.
