Responsibilities
- Perform structural engineering design activities ensuring accuracy and compliance with international standards
- Take personal responsibility and ownership of projects
- Produce deliverables within programmed timescales
- Share knowledge and mentor less experienced team members
- Interpret and apply client, industry, and GHD standards
- Work collaboratively with local and international GHD offices
- Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering
- 8 years of professional experience in building and infrastructure projects
- Working towards or Chartered Engineer status (MICE, MIStructE)
- Experience designing steel, concrete, and masonry structures to American and British Standards
- Familiarity with local UAE Authority design requirements
- Proficiency in structural software such as CSi ETABS, SAFE, Robot structural Analysis, STAAD, or Prokon
- Experience working in a 3D design environment and familiarity with BIM protocols
