A leading Oil & Gas organization is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer (PJ) for a contract position based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, with offshore visits as required. This opportunity is ideal for engineering professionals with extensive GCC and Oil & Gas project experience who are passionate about delivering complex engineering projects while ensuring safety, quality, and operational excellence.
The successful candidate will support the planning, execution, coordination, and delivery of engineering projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across onshore and offshore operations. Key Responsibilities- Manage engineering projects from planning through execution and completion.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering, operations, and project teams.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, project specifications, and HSE requirements.
- Support offshore engineering activities as required.
- Review engineering drawings, technical documentation, and project deliverables.
- Identify project risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
- Prepare project progress reports and provide regular updates to management.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across engineering projects.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Piping Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of GCC experience
. - At least 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector
