System Architect

Role Purpose
:
Own the complete technical architecture and ensure that all subsystems operate as one coherent product.

• Ability to define architectures for fixed, portable, vehicle-mounted, and mobile systems.
• Ability to translate operational requirements into system and subsystem requirements.
• Ability to define software interfaces and sdk’s between various hardware devices.
• Ability to produce system block diagrams, interface-control documents, timing diagrams, data-flow diagrams, state diagrams, and deployment architectures.
• Ability to define coordinate systems and data relationships between sensing devices.
• Strong understanding of coordinate transformations, geometry, linear algebra, and three-dimensional spatial relationships
• Ability to establish system timing, latency, synchronization, bandwidth, storage, and power budgets.
• Ability to allocate functions between hardware, firmware, software, and mechanical subsystems.
• Ability to define normal, degraded, fault, recovery, maintenance, and calibration operating modes.
• Strong understanding of system availability, redundancy, maintainability, scalability, and fault tolerance.
• Ability to lead design reviews and technical decision-making across engineering disciplines.
• Ability to maintain requirements traceability from operational need through design, implementation, and validation.
• Ability to manage technical risks, assumptions, dependencies, and engineering changes.

• Minimum Bachelors degree in IT/Engineering or equivalent required
