Senior Electrical Engineer

Ohana Development is seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our project delivery team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both consulting and contracting environments, with proven expertise in complex high-rise and tower developments. This is a site-based role, requiring hands‑on involvement in execution, coordination, and supervision of electrical works.

• Oversee and manage all electrical works on‑site for high‑rise/tower projects
• Review and validate design drawings, specifications, and BOQs
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and project specifications
• Monitor project progress, quality, and timelines for electrical systems
• Lead testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems
• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions on‑site
• Participate in project meetings and provide progress updates

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Strong experience in both consulting and contracting firms minimum of 15 years
• Proven track record in complex projects, high‑rise towers, and large‑scale developments
• Extensive knowledge of MEP systems, codes, and standards (UAE/GCC preferred)
• Experience working in site‑based roles
• Strong leadership, coordination, and problem‑solving skills

• UAE experience is highly preferred
• Professional certifications or memberships (e.g., IEEE or PMI)
