Mechanical Engineer, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Operations Management, Process Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all mechanical engineering activities during plant construction, machine installation, commissioning and operations
- Review and interpret mechanical drawings, BOQs, P IDs, technical specifications, equipment layouts and vendor documentation to ensure proper execution
- Supervise the installation, alignment, testing and commissioning of process machinery, utility systems and auxiliary mechanical equipment
- Coordinate with consultants, OEMs, contractors and cross‑functional teams to ensure timely project execution and resolution of technical issues
- Review technical submissions, evaluate vendors, support procurement activities and ensure compliance with project specifications
- Develop and implement preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance strategies to maximize equipment reliability and plant availability
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve equipment performance
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards, engineering codes, quality requirements, statutory regulations and company policies
- Manage project schedules, mechanical budgets, contractors, manpower, maintenance planning and spare parts inventory
- Prepare engineering reports, maintenance documentation, SOPs, as‑built records and support continuous improvement initiatives across the plant
Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Professional certifications related to Project Management, Maintenance Management or Reliability Engineering will be an added advantage.
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in industrial manufacturing or process industries.
Proven experience in plant construction, machine installation, commissioning and maintenance.
Experience in BOPP, BOPET, Flexible Packaging, Plastics, Petrochemical, FMCG or similar manufacturing industries will be preferred.
Required Skills- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and industrial manufacturing processes
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, BOQs, P IDs and technical specifications
- Experience in project execution, contractor management, vendor coordination and procurement support
- Strong understanding of industrial machinery, utility systems, maintenance planning and troubleshooting
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, planning and decision‑making skills
- Strong leadership, communication and team management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Project and CMMS software will be an added advantage.
Full‑time on‑site role based at the LT FILMS INDUSTRIES LLC manufacturing facility.
The role requires regular site inspections, coordination with contractors, consultants, OEM engineers and active involvement during construction, commissioning and plant operations.
Good communication skills and able to lead team.
