- Training Provider using approved Tutor and be assessed every 3 years as per Appendix-1. He shall be trained and assessed on the same type of Offshore or Onshore Crane Operation Planning i.e. (Offshore Appointed Person Course is different than Mobile Crane Appointed Person Course).

- Should be familiar with working practices in Oil and Gas Industry with the highest attention to HSE.
- Knowledge to operate machinery and handle tools required to perform work.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple disciplines to ensure smooth operation at site.
- Flexible and hardworking nature whilst displaying integrity at all times.
- Have relevant oil & gas offshore and onshore lifting related experience of not less than 7 years with a minimum of 5 years in a similar position.
- Be at least 30 years of age and above.
- Have at least a 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; however, Asset Integrity Lifting Engineer to assess the person with qualifications less than "3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent".
- Be trained (4-days Appointed Person Course) by an ADNOC Offshore Approved.
- Be knowledgeable for Lifting Equipment through examination (LEE Entry Exam and Diploma is an added value).
- Good Command of English knowledge, written and spoken.
- Physical strength to work in hot and humid conditions (onshore and offshore).
- Good Hand-Eye coordination.
