BIM Modeling and System Development
Create, manage, and maintain accurate 3D structural BIM models for concrete, steel, and post-tensioned structures from initial concept to detailed construction stages using Autodesk Revit Structure.
Interdisciplinary Coordination and Clash DetectionCoordinate structural models with Architectural and MEP disciplines to identify, analyze, and resolve design conflicts using Navisworks Manage and cloud CDE platforms ACC, BIM 360.
Drawing Production and DocumentationExtract high-quality structural general arrangement (GA) drawings, detailed section cuts, fabrication shop drawings, and schedule reports directly from the BIM environment in compliance with project standards.
Standardization and BEP ComplianceImplement project‑specific BIM Execution Plans (BEP), maintaining proper modeling protocols, naming conventions, level‑of‑development LOD 200 400 and family creation standards.
Quality Assurance and AuditsPerform regular QA/QC model checks to ensure accuracy, proper structural parameter inputs, correct levels, grids, and metadata integrity before releasing documentation to internal teams or external clients.
Education- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
- 2 to 5 years of hands‑on experience in structural BIM modeling and coordination, preferably within the Middle East/GCC region on residential, commercial, or high‑rise projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit Structure and Navisworks Manage.
- Solid command of AutoCAD and cloud platforms like Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or BIM 360.
- Working knowledge of Dynamo for Revit visual scripting or parametric automation is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with international and regional BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650).
- Strong foundational understanding of structural design principles, concrete framing, structural steel connection details, and rebar modeling.
- High attention to detail with the ability to detect geometry discrepancies early in the design cycle.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross‑discipline collaboration and team coordination.
