Draughtsman Civil

Job responsibilities

• Prepare detailed CAD drawings for roads highways bridges utilities drainage and infrastructure projects in accordance with RTA DM DEWA and project standards
• Interpret engineering drawings specifications survey data and site information to produce accurate construction and as-built drawings
• Coordinate with civil structural utility and MEP engineers to ensure drawings are technically feasible coordinated and compliant with authority requirements
• Conduct site visits and surveys to verify existing conditions utilities levels and dimensions and update drawings accordingly
• Prepare road layouts profiles cross-sections utility alignments drainage networks and infrastructure details for construction and approval
• Coordinate drawings with relevant authorities consultants and contractors and incorporate comments and revisions as required

• Possess a ITI / Diploma in Civil or a related field, providing a strong foundation in the principles of design and construction.
• Hold certifications in relevant CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit), demonstrating proficiency in industry-standard design tools.
• Demonstrate at least 2-5 years of experience in civil drafting, showcasing practical knowledge of design processes and project workflows.
• Have a strong understanding of construction practices, materials, and building codes, ensuring designs are practical and compliant.
