As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for accurately measuring land parcels and property boundaries according to guidance from the city. You will also be responsible for preparing detailed reports of your findings, while adhering to all safety standards. Additional job duties include:

• Utilizing survey equipment such as lasers, theodolites, levels, etc.
• Generating detailed drawings of the surveyed land parcels
• Analyzing survey results and making recommendation based on findings
• Maintaining accurate records of survey data
• Collaborating with other professionals such as architects or civil engineers to ensure accuracy or resolve issues
• Completing all necessary paperwork related to surveying activities

To be considered for this role you must have:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent qualification
• Ability to interpret maps, plans and technical drawings accurately
• Proficiency in using surveying software programs such as AutoCAD or Total Station software
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
