Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Land Surveyor to join our team in Abu-Dhabi, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting land surveys and providing accurate measurements of land boundary lines, topography, and other physical features of the earth’s surface, as well as providing technical advice on all matters related to surveying projects.
Responsibilities- Conduct field surveys to determine precise locations and measurements of land boundaries, features, and topography for construction projects or other purposes
- Utilize advanced surveying equipment such as transits, levels, theodolites and GPS receivers to measure angles and distances
- Analyze survey data using specialized software or mathematical calculations in order to prepare maps or detailed reports
- Record data accurately and update existing records such as deeds or property records
- Provide technical advice on surveying-related matters such as construction layout, erosion control measures, or boundary disputes
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations when performing surveys.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in surveying engineering or a related field is preferred but not required; equivalent experience considered
- At least 2 years of experience in land surveying work is required
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations regarding boundary lines
- Good knowledge of advanced survey instruments (GPS receivers/transits/levels)
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret maps accurately
- Excellent mathematical skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
