Land Surveyor in Abu-Dhabi, UAE
We are looking to fill a vacancy for a Land Surveyor at our company in Abu-Dhabi with a salary of 1100. We are open to considering applicants from abroad and minimal work experience is required.
Job DescriptionThe primary responsibility of the Land Surveyor is to perform land surveys and measurements of areas, buildings, terrain and other features using surveying instruments, such as theodolites and total stations. The Land Surveyor will be responsible for collecting data, interpreting survey measurements and preparing maps and reports based on the collected data. Additionally, they will be in charge of setting out boundaries, building sites and other structures according to plans using tape measures, spirit levels and laser equipment.
The Land Surveyor must also check that all measurements are accurate and that all paperwork is complete before submitting reports to the relevant authorities.
- A degree in Surveying or a related field is essential for this position
- Knowledge of surveying techniques, mathematics, statistics and GIS software
- Ability to work with precision and accuracy in all aspects of the role
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- A valid driving license is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of safety regulations when using equipment
