We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with 15+ years of experience in Oil & Gas / EPC projects to support an ADNOC Onshore project. The candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating mechanical activities at site, with strong experience in construction, installation, testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning. The ideal candidate must be ADNOC Approved and have hands‑on experience in major onshore Oil & Gas projects.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and coordinate mechanical construction and installation activities at site.
- Review and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, method statements and project requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, commissioning, QA/QC and subcontractor teams.
- Monitor installation and construction activities for mechanical equipment and systems.
- Coordinate mechanical works including static equipment, rotating equipment, packages, tanks, pressure vessels, pumps, compressors and associated systems, as applicable to the project.
- Ensure mechanical activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, project procedures and ADNOC standards.
- Coordinate with other disciplines to resolve site technical and construction issues.
- Monitor subcontractor activities, productivity, progress and quality.
- Participate in inspections, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning and system handover activities.
- Support equipment installation, alignment, preservation and mechanical completion activities.
- Review RFIs, technical queries, site instructions and engineering changes.
- Coordinate with QA/QC for inspection, testing and documentation requirements.
- Participate in site walkdowns, punch‑list preparation and clearance.
- Support mechanical completion, commissioning and handover activities.
- Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements and safe working practices.
- Provide technical support to the construction and commissioning teams throughout the project.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 15+ years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Industrial projects.
- ADNOC Approval is mandatory.
- Strong experience in ADNOC Onshore projects is required.
- Proven experience in site‑based mechanical construction and commissioning.
- Strong exposure to mechanical equipment installation and construction activities.
- Experience with relevant mechanical disciplines, including static equipment, rotating equipment, packages, tanks, vessels, pumps, compressors and associated mechanical systems, depending on project scope.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical construction methodologies, inspection requirements and QA/QC procedures.
- Experience coordinating with EPC contractors, subcontractors, consultants and client teams.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, equipment specifications, datasheets and construction documents.
- Experience with mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning, punch‑list clearance and handover.
- Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas site safety requirements and permit-to-work procedures.
- Willingness to work site-based in the UAE.
