Chemical Engineer – Oil and Gas Production
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Chemical Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As a Chemical Engineer, you will play a vital role in the oil and gas production process, ensuring the safe and efficient extraction of natural resources.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research and analysis to develop new methods for optimizing oil and gas production processes
- Design and implement strategies for improving efficiency, reducing costs, and minimizing environmental impact
- Monitor production operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations and identify areas for improvement
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and recommend solutions to maintain smooth operation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products or improve existing ones
- Provide technical support to operations teams to troubleshoot any production issues
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the oil and gas industry
- Strong knowledge of chemical processes, including distillation, filtration, and separation techniques
- Familiarity with process simulation software such as Aspen HYSYS or PRO/II
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations for improvement
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to oil and gas production
- Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
- Experience working on offshore oil rigs
- Familiarity with project management principles
