Lead Instrument and Controls Engineer
Job Purpose
The Lead Instrument & Controls Engineer is responsible for leading all Instrumentation, Control Systems, Functional Safety, and Automation engineering activities for ADNOC Offshore projects. The role ensures the delivery of safe, reliable, cost-effective, and compliant engineering solutions throughout FEED, Detailed Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and Start-up phases. The position provides technical leadership for offshore process control systems, safety instrumented systems (SIS), distributed control systems (DCS), emergency shutdown systems (ESD), fire and gas systems (F&G), telecommunications interfaces, and field instrumentation for offshore oil and gas facilities.Key Responsibilities
Engineering Leadership
- Lead and coordinate Instrumentation & Control engineering activities across the project lifecycle.
- Manage a team of I&C engineers, designers, and specialists.
- Ensure all engineering deliverables are completed in accordance with project schedules, quality standards, and ADNOC Offshore requirements.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and supervision to engineering personnel.
- Review and approve all I&C engineering deliverables.
