Abou Role
  • Prepare and optimize drilling programs to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Develop and implement innovative drilling techniques and technologies.
  • Examine and analyze drilling data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve operational challenges during drilling activities.
  • Review and advise on casing design and material selection for various drilling projects.
  • Execute well suspension and abandonment plans in compliance with industry standards.
  • Advise on blowout contingency plans and hazard identification strategies.
  • Analyze subsurface pressures, borehole stability, and rock mechanics to ensure drilling integrity.
  • Develop and review cementing design and operations for optimal well integrity.
  • Supervise directional drilling and anticollision strategies to ensure safety and accuracy.
Qualification & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in drilling engineering or related roles.
  • Certification in Well Control (e.g., IWCF or IADC) is required. Additional certifications in drilling operations are preferred.
