Senior Mechanical Engineer Ruwais

We are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising mechanical engineering activities, ensuring that works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, project requirements, and UAE standards.

• Lead and supervise mechanical engineering activities on construction projects.
• Review and coordinate mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Manage installation, testing, commissioning, and inspection of mechanical systems.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines.
• Monitor site progress and ensure works are completed according to the approved schedule.
• Review technical submittals, material approvals, shop drawings, method statements, and inspection requests.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, authority requirements, and applicable UAE codes and standards.
• Identify and resolve technical and site-related mechanical issues.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Coordinate with the QA/QC team regarding inspections, testing, and documentation.
• Assist with project planning, manpower requirements, material procurement, and cost control.
• Attend technical meetings and provide engineering solutions when required.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and promote safe working practices.
• Prepare progress reports and provide regular updates to the Project Manager.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
  , preferably with strong UAE construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical building services and construction activities.
• Experience in managing site teams and coordinating with consultants and subcontractors.
• Good knowledge of UAE standards, regulations, and authority requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering and project management software.
• Candidates willing to work in Abu Dhabi and Ruwais are preferred.
