Monitor piping fabrication and erection activities. Inspect welding activities and ensure compliance with approved procedures and specifications. Witness and monitor pressure testing and hydrotesting activities. Check welding consumables, preheat requirements, and post-weld conditions. Ensure all activities comply with approved drawings, applicable codes, project specifications, and ITPs. Review relevant inspection and testing documentation. Identify and report non-conformities and follow up on corrective actions.
Coordinate with construction, quality, and project teams regarding inspection activities. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of experience in piping and welding inspection for Oil & Gas projects . Good knowledge of applicable ASME codes . Good knowledge of hydrotest and pressure-testing procedures . Experience in piping fabrication, erection, and welding inspection.
