Specialist Telecom/Telemetry Engineer
1.Fully Familiar with international codes, standards and recommended practices to be adopted during Pre-FEED, FEED & EPC phases of Oil & Gas projects.
2.Must have the capacity to supervise and manage FEED Engineer/s and development of FEED deliverables.
3.Participation with contribution during field installation, commissioning, and testing of Telecom/Telemetry shall be demonstrable during project execution.
4.To review and approve engineering design activities performed by consultants, FEED Engineers and EPC contractors for all Telecommunication/Telemetry and SCADA Systems, etc.
5.To reviews/ approves drawings, specifications and other technical documents.
6.To ensure uniformity and standardization compatibility at optimum levels in design and engineering in all phases of project.
7.To evaluates tenders/ bids and approves selection of equipment and systems
1.B.S. or equivalent degree in Electrical/ Telecommunication Engineering from an accredited university.
2.Thorough knowledge of Telecom/ Telemetry packages which includes but not limited to Telecommunication infrastructures, Transmission system, Radio System, Voice and Data Networking, CCTV, Public Address, Access Control, Pipeline/wellheads SCADA Systems and Leak Detection system generally incorporated in major Oil & Gas projects is essential.
