Electrical Commissioning Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer – Commissioning to support commissioning activities for the Southeast Project. The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating and executing electrical commissioning activities in accordance with approved procedures, project specifications, HSE requirements and applicable international standards.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- Execute and coordinate electrical pre-commissioning and commissioning activities at site.
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, datasheets, vendor documents and commissioning procedures.
- Coordinate with construction, engineering, vendors and other disciplines to ensure systems are ready for commissioning.
- Conduct inspection, testing and functional checks of electrical systems and equipment.
- Support energization activities and system handover.
- Identify, troubleshoot and resolve electrical commissioning issues.
- Prepare and maintain commissioning check sheets, test records, punch lists and related documentation.
- Monitor completion of construction activities and ensure systems are mechanically complete prior to commissioning.
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors during testing and commissioning.
- Ensure all commissioning activities are carried out safely and in accordance with approved procedures.
- Support system completion, punch clearance and final handover activities.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 8+ years of experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Industrial projects.
- Strong experience in electrical pre-commissioning and commissioning.
- Experience in site-based commissioning activities for major Oil & Gas/EPC projects.
- Good knowledge of electrical testing, energization and system handover.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents.
- Strong coordination and troubleshooting skills.
- Good knowledge of HSE requirements and commissioning procedures.
- Candidates with experience in major EPC projects are preferred.
- Immediate availability / short notice preferred.
