Process Commissioning Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer – Commissioning to support process commissioning activities. The candidate will coordinate process-related commissioning activities, system preparation, testing, start-up and handover in accordance with approved procedures and project requirements.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- Support planning and execution of process pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
- Review P&IDs, process datasheets, process specifications, cause & effect diagrams and commissioning procedures.
- Coordinate with construction, engineering, operations, mechanical, instrumentation and other disciplines.
- Verify system readiness and mechanical completion prior to commissioning.
- Support flushing, cleaning, leak testing, line-up and other process system preparation activities.
- Participate in commissioning, start-up and performance testing activities.
- Identify and resolve process-related technical and commissioning issues.
- Prepare and maintain commissioning check sheets, test records, punch lists and system handover documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors during commissioning and start-up.
- Support pre-startup reviews, system handover and punch clearance.
- Ensure commissioning activities comply with approved procedures, project specifications and HSE requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in chemical / Process Engineering or equivalent.
- 8+ years of Oil & Gas / Petrochemical experience, with strong commissioning exposure.
- Experience in process pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities.
- Strong knowledge of P&IDs, process systems and commissioning procedures.
- Site-based experience in major EPC projects preferred.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary commissioning teams.
- Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of HSE requirements during commissioning and start-up.
- Candidates with major Oil & Gas commissioning experience are preferred.
- Immediate availability / short notice preferred.
