Job Description TAQA Overview
We are seeking an experienced Resident Engineer - Civil responsible for supervising the construction installation testing and commissioning of 132 kV and above substations ensuring compliance with project specifications quality standards safety requirements and schedule commitments
Your role- Supervise construction and installation activities for AIS GIS substations 132 kV and above
- Monitor the erection of transformers switch gear CTs VTs isolators protection panels SCADA and associated equipment
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings technical specifications and HSE requirements
- Witness testing and commissioning activities and review test reports
- Coordinate with contractors clients and project teams to ensure timely project delivery
- Monitor project progress and prepare site reports
- Identify and resolve technical and construction issues at site
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 15+ years of experience in substation projects, with significant exposure to 132 kV and above substations.
- Experience in AIS/GIS substations, testing & commissioning, and construction supervision.
- HV/EHV Substation Construction Supervision
- Testing & Commissioning
- Quality and Safety Management
- Contractor Coordination
- Progress Monitoring & Reporting
- EPC, Utility, Consulting, or Owner's Engineer projects involving 132 kV, 220 kV, 400 kV, or higher voltage substations.
