Responsibilities
- Analyze project specifications and technical drawings to accurately determine pump requirements and scope of work
- Develop detailed cost estimates for water pump systems including equipment materials labor and overhead
- Prepare comprehensive technical proposals and submittals ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards
- Collaborate with sales and project management teams to understand client needs and tailor technical solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating or application engineering for water pump systems
- Proven experience with centrifugal, submersible, and other relevant pump types in industrial or municipal applications
- Proficiency in hydraulic calculations, pump performance curves, and selection software
