ABOUTTHE ROLE
Technical Expertise
- Experience in design, simulation, and testing power conversion devices (DC/DC, DC/AC Converters, SMPS, Inverter and/or Motor Drives).
- Proficiency with electrical/electronic CAD tools for Schematic/PCB design and technical documentation Generation (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, Mentor Graphics, KiCAD or any equivalent e-CAD software).
- Strong knowledge of electronic hardware development across the full product lifecycle, from concept and design through manufacturing, testing, and validation within automotive applications.
- Solid understanding of electronic hardware architecture, component selection, thermal management, and reliability considerations.
- Familiarity with EMI/EMC design practices and compliance requirements for automotive and industrial environments.
- Knowledge of Firmware Development and Reverse Engineering of Electronic Hardware.
- Working knowledge of international standards applied to electronic product development, such as IPC Series IPC-2220, IPC-A-600, IPC-6012B, IPC-A-610 and/or their MIL-STD equivalent.
- Strong working experience on systematic troubleshooting failure modes in Electronic Hardware.
- Solid understanding of system-level design principles, aligned with a system engineering approach.
- Translate customer requirements into clear and structured technical and project specifications.
- Contribute to the design, development, and validation of electrical systems in accordance with project and customer requirements.
- Support cross-functional collaboration to ensure system integration and compliance with applicable standards.
- Participate in prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting activities with a hands‑on approach.
Professional Attributes
- Hands‑on workbench profile, practical mindset with the ability to support prototype development.
- Ability to perform effectively in high‑pressure, fast‑paced environments.
- Background or experience in the Defense Industry is considered a strong advantage.
- Bachelor degree in Electric, Electronics, Software Engineering, Physics or other related field required;
Master degree preferred. - Seven to Ten years of experience.
- Previous experience in Defense Industry is an advantage.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office Software Package is preferred.
- The ability to communicate effectively in English, both in writing
