Welding Engineer

We are seeking a qualified Welding Engineer to support site construction activities within the Oil & Gas industry, with a focus on welding engineering, quality, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of welding processes, procedures, and standards, along with hands-on site experience. • Develop, review, and implement welding procedures (WPS, PQR).
• Ensure all welding activities comply with project specifications and standards.
• Provide technical support to site teams on welding-related matters.
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams for inspections and welding quality control.
• Monitor welder qualifications and certification compliance.
• Support NDT activities and review inspection results.
• Identify welding issues and provide corrective solutions.
• Ensure proper documentation and reporting of welding activities.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• IWE (International Welding Engineer) certification - Mandatory.
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in welding engineering within EPC or construction projects.
• Strong site experience in welding and fabrication activities.
• Good knowledge of international welding standards (ASME, AWS, etc.).
• Experience in QA/QC coordination and welding inspections.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in the Oil & Gas industry

• Experience in ADNOC or similar major client projects (advantage).
• GCC experience preferred.
• Familiarity with piping, tanks, or structural welding works.
